Hang 'em up
My Dad has injured himself playing football (for the over 35's). He has torn his ankle ligaments that were supporting a piece of broken bone from a previous broken ankle. Funny thing is he doesn't remember ever breaking his ankle!!!!
Think its about time he hung his boots up and stopped planning to buy a new pair of Puma Kings!!!

Pigeon update
Bad news on the pigeon front. My Dad checked on it before we went to bed last night and everything seemed ok, unfortunately this morning the poor bird had passed away, funeral details will be published in the Advertiser and Manchester Evening News.

Catch the pigeon
Me and Dad spotted an injured pigeon in the garden today, it looked like it had been in a fight and couldn't fly, so we put it in a box and gave it some food and water to try and make it better. It is resting in the medical ward/shed so no cats can attack it. I will report back on how the bird is getting on.

The original Red Devils
While United were busy drawing their first home game of the new season, my Mum took me to the famous Willows to watch Salford Reds, the original Red Devils. This was Salford's last home league game and they destroyed Bately Bulldogs 46-0 and were presented with the trophy for winning the league.Check out the trackie...Pride of the City!!!!

Birthday number 2
Its been a long time since I blogged and I must apologise, so its time to get back on it.
Today is an appropriate day to start blogging again as it is the 2nd anniversary of my original due date and also 31 years to the day that the great Elvis Presley allegedly passed away.

As most of you are aware I was born 6 weeks early, so a good place to start catching up is with some pics from my 2nd birthday.
On the morning of my birthday I had lots of presents to open, one really caught my eye, a drum kit from Gran and Grandad Smith. Safe to say my Mum and Dad were well chuffed!!!
It may look like I am playing along to the Tweenies, but in actual fact its I am the Resurrection by The Stone Roses!!!
Unfortunately the summer sun had left us and it absolutely belted down. So me, my cousin Izzy and my buddy Joseph set up an art group inside.
I am sure that the observant viewers out there may well have noticed that it is exactly the same type of cake as last year, come on Mum and Dad are you trying to force me into football or something. I have no doubt that my Dad will let me make my own decisions when it comes to liking sport or not!!!!
