United champions of Europe!!!

Me and Dad have only just got over the events of 21st May 2008, talk about squeeky bum time!!!
My Dad went to watch the game in Manchester City Centre, but to my surprise he was home with 3 mins of extra time gone. He said he couldn't handle being out and the way the game was going he would have had to start drinking very heavily to get him through it, so he had driven home when the full-time whistle had blown in order to focus fully on the match!!!
He now claims that if he hadn't have come home then United wouldn't have been holding the trophy with the big ears and would have all ended in tears of sorrow!!!
Should have worn the correct studs John...ooops!!!
Couldn't have happened to a nicer bloke!
Edwin wins the cup for the boys and millions of grown men around the world fall to their knees and break into tears...well thats what happened to my Dad!!!
Today at Old Trafford a tribute to the 'Holy Trinity' of United's greatest players Best, Law and Charlton was unveiled, 40 years to the day when United became the 1st English team to win the European Cup (1968).
Combined with the 50th anniversary of the Munich Air Disaster (1958) it makes this years win all the more special.

Days out

Before we had the excellent spell of sun, the Smith family went on a few days out.
Here I am with with my Mum and Dad on Crosby beach. My Dad had upset my Mum so she had give him a pair of concrete wellies to wear.
Racing with the dogs, 1st to the sea gets a pound from my Dad!!!
Just put the money in the rucksack Dad!
Just about to collect my winnings from Pops.
Dad throwing a deaf one, its always the same when we talk about money!!!

As you can tell the cold weather called for the camo gear to be in full effect again, not sure though that the armed forces will go for the orange Tigger ski hat as it may cause you to stand out when crawling through the woods!!!
These couple were from a trip to Dunhalm Massey Park, we walked for hours and hours and didn't see a single deer...what a con!!!

Zzzzzzzzzz

Had a bit of a shock when I went to bed last night, as if by magic a proper bed had appeared. With me nearing the grand old age of 2 Mum and Dad had decided it was time to be all grown up and move out of the prison cell/cot and into a big boys bed.
I thought to myself that it was about time, but just to kid the folks a little I acted all excited and giddy for a little while and slept until after 9am!!!! Safe to say the parents were well chuffed, the question is will it last?
